I've never had apples with cheese before but I know that some people make a pie like that so why not a sandwich. I like the green Granny Smith apples because they're tarte and I like the way they hold up when they are cooked. My daughter likes honeycrisp apples and that's only kind she'll buy but I don't know if they're a cooking apple5and how they hold up. Has anyone here cooked or baked with honeycrisp apples?
