Turn canned beets into homemade pickled beets in no time with this recipe for Easy Pickled Beets. If you've never made pickled beets from canned beets, then you're in for a real surprise, because these tastes just as good, but are a whole lot quicker and easier. What You'll Need
- 1 (15-ounce) can sliced beets, drained
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 whole cloves
What to Do
- In a medium-sized saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil over high heat. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.
- Transfer to an airtight container and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
If you'd rather, you can finely dice the onions instead of slicing them. Do it whichever way your gang likes best.
