What You'll Need

  • 1 (11-ounce) can refrigerated French bread dough (see note)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Unroll dough into a 10- x 15-inch greased rimmed baking pan, and flatten slightly. Press handle of a wooden spoon into dough to make indentations at 1-inch intervals; drizzle dough with oil, and sprinkle with salt and remaining ingredients.

  2. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut bread into rectangles, and serve warm.


Refrigerated French bread dough gives you a jump start on this crispy, crunchy focaccia. Serve it plain, with warm marinara sauce, or crowned with your favorite pizza toppings.
