ourNani will you come visit me for a few days and make perogies for me? I can't make my dough as thin as mom's and I really misss home made ones! My favorite were with chopped onions sauted in butter and mixed with farmer's cheese (pot cheese)

I am going to try this recipe..but with my own homemade perogies...Have been making perogies for over 50 years. Our favorite to date..leftovers after Thanksgiving Dinner....Oh, so good.

I have just made this recipe and it's great. I added bacon bits to the sauce for more balance. Next time I will double the sauce though.

Pierogies are one of our traditional Christmas Eve dinner dishes. I use to make them from scratch. My mom's recipie, we always used potatoes and brick cheese, then cooked in onions and butter. Mr's T's are really good. I will have to give this one a try. Thanks for all the great recipes !!! ; }

I'm the only one in my family that makes homemade pierogi's. I don't care for boxed,but some people like them.I use bacon,green onions,and mushrooms for topping. I make about 80 in one batch.

try using Hormel bacon bits cheaper & easier

finally a new way to make pierogies. Will make this again!!!!!

there is never enough bacon in a recipe for the bacon fiends in this pack lol, so other than adding more bacon, followed as scripted; served with a simple salad, thumbs up all around the table; thanks for a budget friendly, no hassle weeknight idea

what are pierogies??

polish raviolies

they are little pasta pockets, usually filled with things like sauerkraut, potatoes or cheese. Mrs. T's is a brand that you can usually find in the freezer section of the supermarket.
