Didn't think your favorite chicken cutlet recipe could get any better? Try our Italian Baked Cutlets for an easier, faster and tastier Italian-style dinner option.

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup Italian dressing (see Note)
  • 3 pounds flattened boneless, skinless chicken breast halves or turkey cutlets

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and garlic powder; mix thoroughly. Pour Italian dressing into a shallow dish; dip cutlets in dressing then in bread crumb mixture, until well coated.
  3. Arrange cutlets on prepared baking sheet and bake 35 minutes, or until cooked and no pink remains.


One way to cut down on calories is to use light or reduced-calorie Italian dressing.

I would make chicken cutlets. What kind of sauce or gravy would you make for these??

You would probably want to serve these with a marinara sauce. Maybe even a side of pasta and a nice salad? There you go, dinner is served!
