  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

What to Do

  1. In a soup pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sauté about 15 minutes, or until golden on all sides, turning occasionally.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is tender and no pink remains. Remove bay leaf, and serve.

Delicious and I used white wine, moscato.

First time I tried this recipe I found it very bland and pretty boring. Next time I made it I added a can od diced tomatoes-still pretty dull. Won't make again.

If you dont want to use white wine, an equal amount of chicken broth will work nicely.

Old World Spanish Chicken. If you don,t whant use white wine can white grape juice be used?
