Shortcut Fresh OJ

There's nothing like the taste of fresh orange juice. Squeezing it ourselves can be a real hassle (and a big mess!), and sometimes it's impossible to find in the stores. Sure, it's worth it, but when we're pressed for time, we can make this super timesaving version that tastes pretty darned close to the real thing.

What You'll Need

  • 4 cups (1 quart) pre-made or made-from-concentrate orange juice
  • 2 large oranges, peeled and sectioned

What to Do

  1. In a blender, blend the orange juice and orange sections until the sections are broken up and well combined.

    Makes about 1 quart.


Add a little champagne to each adult's glass of orange juice, to make sparkling mimosas.
