That's because you get to use your favorite slow cooker to make this seasonally juicy, all-in-one dinner. The sweet apple glaze and succulent pork make a combo everyone will crave. 

What You'll Need

  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 cups baby potatoes
  • 1/2 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin
  • 1 apple, cored, sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

What to Do

  1. Place baby carrots, potatoes, and onion in bottom of slow cooker. Top with pork tenderloin and apple slices.
  2. In a small bowl, combine apple juice, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and garlic; mix well. Poor mixture over top of meat and vegetables.
  3. Cook covered on LOW 4 to 5 hours or until vegetables are fork-tender. Slice pork and serve with vegetables and sauce.

Omg yum! I think pork goes so well with fruit, although I've never really cared for the traditional pork chops and applesauce kinda thing...but I love that the apples are sliced and there's a wonderful sauce that comes from slow cooking everything with the apple flavor in it. I'm surprised there was only one apple in the recipe though...does it matter what type of apple is used?
