Crispy on the outside and super moist on the inside, this Sensational Sausage Stuffing is a Thanksgiving dinner must-have. Once your guests get a taste of this flavor-packed stuffing, they're definitely going to want a second spoonful!

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 (12-ounce) package cubed herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 pound pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups hot chicken or turkey broth

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add onion, celery, and carrot and cook 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender.

  3. In a large bowl, combine stuffing cubes, sausage, sauteed vegetables, pepper, and broth; mix gently until thoroughly combined. Spoon stuffing into baking dish.

  4. Cover and bake 40 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until heated through.
