This nutty mug cake is perfectly-sized just for one, so you can make it whenever you're craving dessert, but don't really want to bake a family-sized cake just for yourself. Plus, it's made in the microwave, so you know it's going to be easy and quick!

What You'll Need

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate hazelnut spread for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon chopped hazelnuts (optional)

What to Do

  1. Grease a 12-ounce microwaveable mug.
  2. In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, baking powder, egg, and vanilla; whisk until batter is smooth. Spoon into mug.
  3. Microwave 60 to 65 seconds or until set in center. Let cool 3 to 5 minutes, then drizzle with chocolate hazelnut spread while still warm. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired, and enjoy.
