The parmesan cheese I never know which one to use. Either it's the stuff in a green jar that you put on top of spaghetti or it's the shaved or grated kind that you get in a pie shape or a rectangle shape that you have to work with for the amount of cheese in a recipe. How can I be sure which kind a recipe is calling out for?

Hi there! You can use grated Parmesan cheese from the green jar or you can use the pie shape, fresh Parmesan cheese and grate it yourself. Fresh is always better to use, but the green jar is there when you don't have the time. Enjoy!
