Chocolate Malted Pops

3 Hr

No straws and no blender are needed for this malted. It takes just a few quick strokes, then we pop them in the freezer for solid refreshment.

What You'll Need

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/4 cup chocolate malted milk powder (see Note)
  • 8 five-ounce paper cups
  • 8 non-toxic wooden craft sticks

What to Do

  1. In a large bowl, combine ice cream and malted milk powder; stir until well combined.
  2. Divide mixture evenly among paper cups, then place a wooden stick in center of each cup. Place in freezer at least 3 hours, until firm.
  3. Serve, or wrap each in plastic wrap and keep frozen until ready to serve.


Malted milk powder can usually be found next to the cocoa and other drink mixes in the supermarket.
