Here's a whole new way with frozen dessert. Is it fruit muffins or smooth, fruity ice cream? Whatever you want it to be, you're gonna love it.

What You'll Need

  • 1 (8 ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

What to Do

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth. With a spoon, add cranberry sauce and pineapple and stir gently.
  2. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper or foil liners and divide mixture evenly among them. Cover and freeze 3 hours, or until firm.

Sounds good but not sure how to serve them. Do you serve them frozen?

Remove paper liner from the Freeze, place in a small bowl and let thaw at room temp for about 15-20 minutes or so, depending on how firm you want it. I also add some finely chopped nuts to the mixture.

Sounds good I am going to try it tonite and will let you know
