Let the good times roll with Pina Colada Frosties! Everybody'll love this family-friendly version of a tropical drink turned into a frosty frozen novelty we eat with a spoon.

What You'll Need:
  • 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (15-ounce) can cream of coconut
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 (6-ounce) jar red maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
What To Do:
  1. Line 12 muffin cups with paper baking cups.

  2. In a large bowl, combine whipped topping and cream of coconut until well blended. Add crushed pineapple, cherries, and coconut.

  3. Spoon into baking cups, cover, and freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.

Note

This treat has a tropical taste, so why not make it look tropical, too? Before freezing, sprinkle each frosty with toasted flaked coconut and top with a whole cherry. Before serving, top each with a paper umbrella…and get ready for the smiles!

So easy, and fast to put together. The hardest part was waiting for it to freeze! My friends and I loved it.

What is cream of coconut ? Is it like coconut milk ? Thanks

Cream of Coconut and Coconut Milk are different. Here is the difference; Coconut milk - Coconut milk is not the juice found inside a coconut, but the diluted cream pressed out from the thick, white flesh of a well-matured coconut. Coconut milk is a rich, creamy liquid made from water and coconut pulp. It is a staple ingredient in Thai curries and in beverages, sauces, soups, and desserts throughout Southeast Asia. Unsweetened coconut milk is available in cans at well-stocked grocery stores and Asian markets. Do not substitute cream of coconut. Cream of coconut - Cream of coconut is a smooth, thick liquid made from fresh coconuts. It is thick and very sweet, and commonly used in mixed drinks. Can usually be found in liquor stores, available in liquid and powdered forms.

it is a thick coconut product used in drinks and some cakes
