When we think of a grilled meal, we think of summertime. But we guarantee that this Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin will be a year-round favorite.
What You'll Need
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry or chicken broth
- 5 cloves garlic, pressed
- 2 (3/4-pound) pork tenderloins
What to Do
-
Stir together first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish or heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; remove 1 cup mixture for basting, and set aside. Pierce pork several times with a fork, and place in bag in remaining mixture. Cover or seal, and chill1 hour.
-
Preheat grill. Remove pork, discarding marinade.
-
Grill pork, covered, over medium heat (300 degrees to 350 degrees) 11 to 13 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 160 degrees, basting with reserved honey mixture.
Notes
These tenderloins pack a flavor wallop with a honey-garlic marinade and basting sauce. They just have to marinate for an hour and then it's on to the grill. Use a meat thermometer to help you gauge exactly when the meat's finished cooking. If you cook tenderloin too long, it can be dry, so get it to 160 degrees, then pull it off the grill!
