My complaint is the amount of flour the recipe calls for, 1 and 1/2 cup. I thought this was too much, but I followed the recipe. After about an hour, I checked, and it looked like pork chop cobbler instead of pork chop and gravy. The flour and chicken broth had baked almost to a bread texture. I would suggest you test this again, and cut down on the flour.

Miserable people. Sit and put your own blogs together and I can't wait to see the reaction when people dis your recipes. Try the recipe first, comment with class and move on. I can only wonder how you all cook. Snarky and rude comments.

I fix this dish a lot because it is easy and we really like it. The amount of flour is 1/2 cup all-purpose flour according to recipe I use. Everything else is the same. I usually fix 4 pork chops. 6 is too many for us.

Words cannot describe just how awful this recipe was. I think it was way too much dry mustard ? Poured the "gravy" off, and made a pork gravy instead. Much better. And I agree, they need a lot longer than 2 1/2 hrs. to be tender enough to eat. Will not make this again.

I have re-worked this recipe as follows. Brown pork chops in seasoned flour. Add to slow cooker with chicken broth. Cook until fall apart tender-usually 6-8 hours. Remove chops from cooker and thicken gravy with flour. Probably about 4 T of flour. The end product is delicious!

Maybe the flour quantity is wrong? Sounds like way too much to me.

This recipe is terrible! It is time consuming and just ruined perfectly good pork chops. The gravy is thick and gloppy and does not taste good. Don't waste your time on this one!

Please don't waste expensive pork chops on this recipe. Cooked into a big messy glob.
