Don't have a slow cooker. How can this recipe be adapted for regular oven?

Hello Vickie, Bread pudding can be made in an 8 x 8 pan. Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 35 40 minutes or center is set.

Family said it was GREAT, just a little rich though...any chocolate lover's dream!!!!!!

What kind of candy bars and also, what is firm white bread?

Twix should do the trick and any day old biscuit from the can. I hope this is helpful.

Bakery style or home-made bread works well for bread pudding. It was a traditional way to use up leftovers. Stale bread actually works better than fresh. You can use stale (not moldy...yuck) bread from home or buy the marked down bread at the bakery. Candy bars- Milky Ways appear to have been used in the original, but Snickers would be my choice.

What kind of candy bars did those of you who have made this use? I'm thinking Milky Way.

incredible - took it to work they named it - "Multiple Orgasm Dessert".

When you print tell your printer to only print page 1, it works perfectly for me.

For imsalvato 4285323: If you highlight the recipe before clicking on "print", and then, when the print menu pops up, choose "selection", only what you've highlighted will print. It will save you a lot of paper!

I love all your redipes but when i print them out i use too much paper . The last page just has the name of the recipe. that wastes the paper.

Super easy crock pot recipe and everyone in the large dinner group raved about it. You won't regret trying this one.

I love all the recipes that I get from Mr Foods they are real real good and real easy to make.
