Can country style ribs be used in place of short ribs?

I would use the juice of a lemon and maybe 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 large can whole tomatoes with juice cut up not crushed tomatoes or tomato paste after simmering for an hour adjust seasonings if you want to add a bit more sugar sure do so .. But 1 and 1/2 cups sugar is just way too much this recipe sounds like it does have good bones though

Could this be made in a slow cooker?

Yes, these ribs can be cooked in slow cooker. We have not tested, but it should be about 7 to 8 hours on low heat.

Didnt really find out what i wanted to find out on howto cook cabage

I don't like sweet soups so this one, I'll surely pass. Might try it minus all the sugar.
