22 Shortcut Homemade Stuffing Recipes

Stuffing is a best-loved holiday side dish, and for good reason! Not only is it tasty by itself, it sure is good with turkey and all of our other holiday favorites. Whether you're lookin' for stove top stuffing recipes -- or how 'bout slow cooker stuffing recipes, so you can free up your stove and oven for other dishes? -- we've got all the very best recipes right here, from sausage stuffing to cornbread dressing. And what's even more important is that all of these tasty stuffing recipes are easy to make -- most of 'em start with a packaged store-bought mix, so you can spend more time with your gang, and less time in the kitchen.

Oh, and have you ever wondered what the difference is between stuffing and dressing? Stuffing means that it's used to stuff a turkey or other bird, and dressing means it's eaten as a dish by itself. Whichever way you wanna call it, it's just plain ol' good!

Excellent! I have an interesting, made out of an OOPS! moment variation. I accidently overcooked a steamed mixture of yellow squash, zucchni, carrots and onions. I did not want too waste food so I took a potato masher and mashed this combo up extremely fine and added it into my stuffing an baked it as usual. everyone including the "I don't like vegetables" crowd said it was the best stuffing they had ever tasted. I think this is a new way to sneak veggies into the picky eaters. LOL.

Wow! I can't make up my mind which one to make.

These stuffing recipes sound so good makes me hungry just reading them. Thanks a busshel.

I make a potato stuffing that you gind raw potatoes, and some ground meat, & add all the seasonings that you would use in a bread dressing, you are replacing the bread with potatos,. I make a huge amount so I can freeze some & have it whenever I want it,. My family would ask me to make it every year for Thanks Giving, Christmas, & New Years,!!

Could I have your recipe for potato stuffing Isschmick 7124772?

Husky Roasted Corn

Native Americans cooked their corn right in the husks over an open fire, and we think their idea is still best, 'cause it helps bring out flavors you can only get from roasting. We love making our Husky Roasted Corn right on the grill in the summer, and in our ovens when it's cooler out!
