heres a tip for all you whoopie pie makers; instead of making the cookies flat; which are never the same size, make it in a 9x13 pan. than you have a sheet and you can cut them uniformly. hope this helps make your experience helpful.

I wish you had more Whoopee Pie recipes. I want to make these for someone that doesn't like Chocolate or Peanut Butter. So I guess I'll have to keep checking. Also with this recipe, it is simple but I usually cook from scratch. When you use a mix it doesn't seem to me to be from scratch. I really do appreciate this website and Mr. Food.

I was looking for something a little more in the way of chocolate cookies with peanut butter and banana cream inside. I have an idea of how to do it now anyway. I will work on it and see how mine come out.

I consider myself quite the baker but not a mind reader. Even though the batter is to be dropped on baking sheets in 2 inch circles, I would like to know the exact measurement of how much batter to use for each cookie.

Buy a Whoopie Pan at: http://www.cooking.com/12-ct-nonstick-12-count-nonstick-whoopie-pie-pan-by-wilton_406173_11/?ccaid=CKSCFRGOOG&&/ Distribute the batter evenly and you get perfect Whoopie tops and bottoms!
