Test Kitchen Tip!

  • Are you thinking, what the heck is Mostaccioli? It’s a shape of pasta that is similar to penne and it originated in Southern Italy.  Penne are ribbed and tube-shaped with angled ends cut to resemble a quill or the point of a pen. Mostaccioli are smooth in texture and are perfect when served with a hearty sauce.

Try adding1 cup of pizza sauce to this. We make a similar recipe and the pizza sauce really perks up the flavor. You can also just use browned ground beef if you don't have the sausage.

Shrek would be disappointed. You didn't even cook the onion. Utter amateur.

I have ground sausage, could I make meatball and make this dish?

Hi there! Yes you can! Enjoy!
