trying to print this recipe is impossible as it takes far too long to load. you need to cut back on the adds or get a lot better internet connection. I don't have any problems with any other food sites. Just yours.

What is half-and-half

Hi there! Half and half is a mixture of equal parts milk and cream. You can find it in most grocery stores near the milk and other whipping cream products. Or you can make your own by mixing equal proportions of whole milk and heavy cream together.

I made this for the clients that I work with this past weekend. It was a huge hit, and it was requested to be made again. I did not add any extra salt, and it was great. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Is there no salt in the crust or filling? Wouldn't that make it rather bland?

We don't include salt in the ingredients because there are 2 cups of cheese on top of the potatoes, and ham in the mixture, which gives it a salty flavor. However, you may add salt as desired. Enjoy! :)
