Made it. Today and it was very good. I added a sliced green bell pepper and deglazed the fry pan with 1/2 cop white wine and added it to the crock pot.

It looks like I have the pleasure to be the first to rate and review this recipe. It's easy and delicious! The best thing about it is that it uses simple ingredients to create a hearty, flavorful meal. I had two large pork steaks that I cut in half to fit my crockpot, and a half dozen medium russet potatoes. I lightly sprinkled the potato/onion layer with garlic powder and pepper besides seasoning the meat. I cooked it 5-1/2 hours on high, and everything came out nice and tender. This recipe is definitely going into my favorites file!
