Orange Smoothies

(0 Votes)

If you want a break from regular orange juice, how 'bout whipping up a smoothie packed with citrusy-orange flavor? Orange Smoothies are a simple blender drink sure to make you smile!

What You'll Need:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ice cubes
What To Do:
  1. In a blender, blend all the ingredients until well combined, thick, and frothy. Serve immediately.
Note

Garnish each glass with a slice of orange. These can also be made with ice cream instead of ice cubes for an orange smoothie shake.

Made this on a whim upon running across the recipe but had to improvise. Used OJ instead of concentrate and can tell the difference - concentrate would be much better. Also threw in some vanilla fro-yo with blueberries than I had in the freezer and that really made it great. This is not bad for a summer drink. Tastes great and is so nice and refreshing.
